How to apply for Name Search & Reservation

Step 1

Access the system on brls.govsomaliland.org

Step 2

Login or Register an account as an applicant

Step 3

Select the name search service from the dashboard and fill the form by providing three options for the names you want to search and submit the application. The ministry officers will review the names and approve the available names. 

Step 4

After the approval, you can proceed to apply for a business registration/incorporation or you can reserve your name for 90 days.

Step 5

Incase of 90 day name reservation, an invoice will be generated and a notification for payment shall be sent via SMS or email. Open the invoice and select Pay Now. Upon successful payment you name will be reserved for a period of 90 days.
